Linton-Stockton School Corporation will once again be offering the Miner Explorers Preschool program held at the elementary school, for the 2023-2024 academic year. We will offer 3 different class options. We will be offering classes for 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, and a 4/5 PreK program. The 3-year-old class will be in session from 8:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and the 4-year-old class will be in session Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and the 4/5 PreK class will meet Monday-Thursday from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m.  Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1st and fully toilet trained to be eligible for the program. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and spots tend to fill up quickly. Parents will be notified if their child will have a spot reserved for them in the program. The cost of the preschool is $20 a week for the 3-year-old class, $30 for the 4-year-old class, and $40 for the PreK class. There will be a sliding fee for those that qualify for assistance. Due to Indiana school transportation legislation, we will not be able to provide bussing for students, except those with an identified disability.
