A big thank you to our custodian and maintenance crews who started early this morning removing excess furntiture from each of our schools. This is just one small piece of getting our schools ready to open and will assist us in social distancing in our classrooms.

A rainbow stretches over the athletic fields.
It is wonderful to see students back on campus! Athletics were allowed to begin limited practices and vollyeball was the first team in. While procedures may be a little different this year, MINER PRIDE continues as usual!!

Students in Mrs. Landis’ 2nd-grade class enjoyed learning about the 1950s today while celebrating the 50th day of school. They wore their best 50s attire, hula-hooped, learned some 50s lingo, had a bubble blowing contest, enjoyed root beer floats, and participated in a jukebox coloring contest! It was a great day!

5th grade students have the responsibility of raising and lowering the flag each day. I have been impressed with their work ethic and their promptness when completing this task . They work in teams of three and then train the next three students. I want to say thank you to the students and Mr. Mair for taking on this responsibility. #proudprincipal
